Creating a PDF from a Joomla database

The Bead Database was a web based catalog of beads from around the planet. The website had been developed using Joomla and the MySQL files had become corrupt possibly due to getting hacked.

'58 ALL' extracted the data from the database dump into more meaningful text files. We then analysed the data to salvage what we could from what was left.

A new parser script was then developed to convert the database into a PDF document.

This included photos which all needed to be resized to a common size so each page looked similar.
